Divorce appraisals
When a marriage ends, the house is often the largest asset to divide. A neutral appraisal gives both spouses and their attorneys a value they can work from.

A neutral number
I am independent of both parties. I can be hired by one spouse, both spouses together, or either attorney, and the value is the same either way. The report explains how I reached it so it holds up to questions.
Current or past dates
Florida divorces sometimes need a value as of a past date, such as the date of filing. I can appraise the home as of today, as of an earlier date, or both in one report.
Access and timing
I need to see the inside of the home. If only one spouse lives there, the other side can usually arrange access through their attorney. Tell me about any deadline when you call.
Questions
Can one spouse order the appraisal?
Yes. Either spouse or either attorney can order it. Many couples agree to share one appraisal to save money.
Will you testify?
Ask when you call. Court testimony or depositions are arranged separately from the report.
